His latest release DELHI 6 may have come in for a mixed response from the critics as well as audience, and its fate at the ticket window still awaited, but the intellectual director has moved on. Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, affectionately called ROM, is more or
less certain that his next film would be based on romance!

In his latest tete-a-tete, Rakeysh says that even during the post-production of his latest film, DELHI 6, he had decided that his next would be a romantic. Although he goes on to add that until and unless a script emerges he cannot be entirely sure about it, but feels that he now has the courage to make a romantic film.

CHECK OUT: DELHI 6 Movie Review

Whoever thought making romance was easy should ask Rakeysh, who feels that it takes guts! Coming from the director of the iconic RANG DE BASANTI, the thriller AKS and the socially relevant DELHI 6, it is quite surprising.

In a light hearted manner Rakeysh admits that his own love story is quite boring, no love at first side, nothing of the sort. Therefore his next film will not represent his love story but its natural that while making a movie a filmmaker draws from life and his understanding of man-woman relationship will manifest itself.
