Madhavan a.k.a Maddy may have been unwell for the last one week but that hasn't stopped him from going all out to promote his film 13B which has also been made in Tamil and released yesterday. This means that en route to the release of the two films, he was busy handling queries from both Hindi as well as Tamil media.
Fully aware that this is a BIG project for him, considering this is only his second solo release in Hindi after RAMJI LONDONWAALE, Maddy is not leaving any stones unturned to bring his film to the audience. And that too when he has been keeping unwell due to severe cold and cough that he has caught.
Says a close associate of Madhavan, ''He is keeping his chin up and braving the illness though he isn't letting anyone know about it. 13B is an important release for him and he is extremely confident about it working with the audience. He is traveling across Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai and though fatigue is catching up with him, it's his excitement about the project that has kept him going.''
Quiz Maddy about it and he is reluctant to reveal much about his illness. He says with a shrug, ''It's just some cold and cough but I will manage. While promoting 13B in the day, I was shooting at nights for 3 IDIOTS. I had to shoot in rain and cold in Film City and guess I fell a little sick there. But that's ok; it's hardly anything to even talk about. Such things happen.''
Meanwhile his 13B has opened to a good critical acclaim and has good chances of audience warming up to the film as well in days to come. ''I have been told that audience is loving the film and word of mouth has been positive all around. All credit to my director and the technical crew that has worked together to make 13B a fantastic film. I am proud of it.''
