By now Bollywood followers are aware that film maker Onir is neck deep working on the script(s) of his next film which would be a series of short stories presented in a single outing. However, not many are aware that each of these films would be connected to each other with not just one theme but also a moving character. How exactly? Well, Onir explains.
''Each of these five short films would have one common thread - that of fear. No, I am not looking at anything controversial here but just telling some true stories which could take place again in your or my life. Also, I am experimenting with story telling technique here. Unlike some other short stories series that we have seen in the past where one character binds them all together or each of the characters meet in the end or all stories turn out to be standalone, my film would have a different approach to it'', Onir throws a pointer here.
''Well, in this case, there would be one character that would move from one story to another and so on. So basically the second story would have a character from the first story playing an important part while the third story would have a character from the second story. This is the way the entire cycle would run. Also, title of each of the short stories would be based on the central protagonist of that story'', details Onir.
So has he finalised any names so far?
''Yes, for the first three it is already done. They are 'Abhimanyu', 'Omar' and 'Afia'. I am in the process of finalizing names for the remaining two'', signs off Onir.
