He is someone who has been around for 20 years and is now choosing his options very carefully. He is looking at working on that 'one major film' that could rightly be called as his comeback film. However, in this journey of his, he is also sad at the current state that Bollywood finds itself in, courtesy the huge number of flops that the industry is currently reeling in.

''I feel right now the industry is like stock market where we first over leveraged ourselves and now see it collapsing. People are not going to theaters any more and even though there has been an odd GHAJINI, films like these, which are made for the masses, are far and few. Look at the mass hysteria that it created but how many movies have been able to compete on a similar scale since then'', questions Chunky who in the meanwhile made a smart move to concentrate on TV instead.

''Promise people some good content and they would go. Period. However, looking at the first quarter of the year, the way things are going it is far from heartening. Pricing of films today is the kind that was agreed upon last year so we could have the market remain bad for a few more months to come at least. Due to this, 2009 is not really looking bright. Worse, small films are not selling at all. The bug of recession has led to correction now, something that should have actually happened a couple of years back'', Chunky adds,

''In any case, it hasn't come as a shock per se because I have seen industry going through bad times way back in 1988 when video piracy had just arrived. It was painful to see the video cassettes of your film available on Thursday itself, a day before the theatrical release. If industry survived then, it would survive even now'', ends Chunky on a hopeful note.
