When it comes to playing the Good Samaritan, Shreyas Talpade has no boundaries. So, he went all the way to Pune taking time out of his busy schedule to inaugurate the Cerebral Palsy Awareness Week at the KEM Hospital, Pune. His wife, who is a clinical psychologist, also accompanied him. To mark the opening of the cerebral palsy awareness week, Shreyas cut a ribbon and was then shown around the center. Shreyas visited the audiometery room (where deafness is diagnosed), play therapy room, physiotherapy room, checked out books on Cerebral palsy and special splints worn by children.
Shreyas was at his interactive best, what with chatting up with the 25 kids and their parents who were there. Shreyas shook hands, kissed and spoke encouraging words to them apart from giving them his autographed colouring books. All the kids then clicked pics with him. And, apart from memories and a good feeling, Shreyas came back with gifts as well. Two kids made him goodies, which pleased Shreyas no end. Shreyas was especially all praises for a kid who directs plays written. By the end of it all, there was a broad smile on not only on Shreyas' lips but also all the kids.
