Showing full faith in Anthony D'Souza, the director of their last big budget underwater thriller, BLUE, Shree Ashtavinayak have once again signed him for another project. Though the final result of BLUE is still awaited (and signs are not very encouraging), the makers have kept their promise to Anthony and he has been officially signed for another film. The cast and credits are yet to be finalized, although rumours are rife that the main star cast of BLUE, Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar and Zayed Khan have been retained and John Abraham is the new entrant. However, there is no truth at all and as per reliable trade sources, its just Anthony D'Souza who has been signed and the cast and crew will be finalized later.
During a recent talk, Anthony had already disclosed how very close he was to the makers of BLUE and that there was a possibility of them coming together for another flick. And it appears that the makers have kept their word. The film is will to go on the floors in the second half of 2010.
Here's hoping that Ashtavinayak and Anthony have learnt the lesson of a controlled budget instead of the huge eighty crore they splurged on their last project. Had they understood this, BLUE would already have been declared a success based on just its two week run.
