TUM MILE is all set to present Emraan Hashmi in a new avtar. Knowing for having a definite grey streak to 90% of the characters he has played so far, Emraan Hashmi has gone for a complete image makeover in his upcoming film directed by Kunal Deshmukh. Playing a quintessential romantic hero, he is extremely positive that after the release of the film, he would be looked upon as someone who can also show a sensitive side of him, if given an opportunity.

"And for that opportunity, I am thankful to Kunal Deshmukh", Emraan is quick to acknowledge, "If not for him, I would have continued playing the kind of roles I have been successful in. In fact when Kunal spoke to me about the role, I was skeptical because I have never played a full on romantic guy before. You know the kind of men over which women swoon."

CHECK OUT: Floods are the anti-hero in TUM MILE

Kunal's convincing power came handy and Emraan was on board after some persuasion.

"Kunal told me that TUM MILE will take me to a next level. He had quite a few pointers to validate his claim. Today when I look at the film in retrospect, I see where he was coming from. Working in TUM MILE has broadened my approach. It's a welcome change to have absolutely no grey shades in my character", smiles Emraan who has made a career out of shocking and surprising audiences through his naughty and in certain cases absolutely mean ways.

As has been the case with Emraan's films, TUM MILE also targets youth.

"Yes, TUM MILE is a very today's film and youth will certainly connect to it. However, in addition, I am also positive about women really like the character that I play. Reason being that he is not someone who can be taken lightly but is yet very sensitive", concludes Emraan.
