When Jacqueline Fernandez was signed for ALADIN, she was pretty much in awe of Amitabh Bachchan. However, when it came to Sanjay Dutt, she was unsure how he would treat her. During her initial months in Bollywood, she had heard horror stories about some of the senior actors not really being considerate about the newcomers. Hence, she was wary of the kind of treatment that would be meted upon her by Sanjay Dutt.
"See, one can't help but be apprehensive when you have just entered the industry", confesses Jacqueline, "You hear so much stuff about actors and the shabby treatment that they sometimes give. More than anything else, I was more concerned if I would be treated like an outsider. However, as it turned out eventually, everything was so cool, chill and nice. Everyone was so good to me on the sets of ALADIN. We used to eat together and crack jokes."
She was particularly impressed by Sanjay Dutt to whom she had to actually look up. Literally. "Oh my God, he is so tall", she exclaims, "He has such a towering presence and I had to actually stand on my toes and look up. He turned out to be so sweet and gentle. Really, when you meet him, he gives you such good vibes. I expected him to be rough but he wasn't. He was also such a great guy to work with."
She shares similar sentiments about Maanyata Dutt as well.
"I have met Mrs. Dutt as well and she is very polite and humble. I couldn't have had a better start in Bollywood", she smiles.
