Even though Priyanka Chopra admits that WHAT'S YOUR RAASHEE is one of the toughest films that she has done in her career so far, she heaves a sigh of relief that at least there were lesser costume changes involved in this Ashutosh Gowariker film when compared to Madhur Bhandarkar FASHION.
"Now that was one grueling and memorable experience that I had", remembers Priyanka who was required to walk the ramp a dozen of times in FASHION, "I guess there were close to 130 costume changes that I had to make in the film. In practically every scene I had to wear different clothes and when it came to ramp, there were some split second changes required as well. It was really hard work to spend so much time to get into the right costume for a shot that lasted barely a few seconds."
Comparatively, WHAT'S YOUR RAASHEE was an easier affair even though she is playing 12 characters in the film.
"That's because most of these characters have their entire screen time in one go itself and last for like 10-15 minutes with a song and some dialogues", explains Priyanka, "I am seen in one or at maximum two costumes per character as Harman (Baweja) meets 12 different prospective brides. Of course this came with its own challenges since we had to make sure that that every single costume which I wear goes perfectly well with the character and makes an impact in that limited screen time. Overall I must have worn around 20 odd costumes in WHAT'S YOUR RAASHEE?"
Boasting of some fantastic music by Sohail Sen, the film is releasing all over on 25th September.
