27 years old Neil Nitin Mukesh would be reuniting with his first ever co-stars after 21 long years. This has been made possible by director Ken Ghosh who has signed the young actor for a family romantic comedy that also sees Rishi Kapoor and Hema Malini coming together. Incidentally, the veteran actors played major roles in Neil's first film VIJAY [1988], which was directed by Yash Chopra and featured the NEW YORK hero as a child actor.

"Now isn't that a once in a lifetime coincidence", exclaims Ken when told about this fact, "For me, getting Neil Nitin Mukesh, Rishi Kapoor and Hema Malini to star in the film was a good enough thing and now this fact being highlighted has only proven to be an icing on the cake."

Incidentally in VIJAY, each of the three actors had a rather strange screen appearance. While Neil Nitin Mukesh played Hema Malini's son, Rishi Kapoor went on to play his grown up version. This made Hema Malini as Rishi Kapoor's on-screen mom.

"Well, Rishi Kapoor and Hema Malini are pretty much paired opposite each other in my film. While they represent the older generation, Neil would play a character from the contemporary times. And yes, unlike VIJAY where the script didn't allow the three of them to share screen space together, there would be ample scenes between them here ", chuckles Ken Ghosh.

In fact as a child actor, Neil Nitin Mukesh has not just played a young Rishi Kapoor but also a young Govinda in JAISI KARNI WAISI BHARNI [1989].
