Director Ken Ghosh is getting busier with every passing day as his CHANCE PE DANCE [Shahid Kapoor, Genelia D'Souza] is getting closer to it's 6th November timeline. Meanwhile he is already getting into the grind for his next film which would have Neil Nitin Mukesh as the central protagonist. And unlike CHANCE PE DANCE for which the title came quite late in the day, Ken has a title finalized for the film.
Laughs Ken, "True, unlike CHANCE PE DANCE where titles like STAR, YAHOO and many more were floating all around for last one year, we have something locked pretty much in advance. We were very clear that this time around, we didn't want any ambiguity or speculation around what the film would be called. You will soon hear an announcement around it."
Coming back to Neil's film, other than the actors playing the three principal protagonists, rest of the star cast is yet to be finalized.
"We are looking at an ensemble casting so there could be quite a few names that you would hear soon", says Ken
On the other hand, Rishi Kapoor and Hema Malini have worked together in number of movies, most notably being EK CHAADAR MAILI SI . Since the release of VIJAY, they haven't been seen together but now more than a couple of decade later, they would be seen in as many as two films together. While one of them would be Ken's film, another is Raj Kanwar's SADIYAAN.
Meanwhile Ken is all set to get into a mighty battle of youngsters as his CHANCE PE DANCE clashes with Raj Kumar Santoshi's AJAB PREM KI GHAJAB KAHANI and Madhur Bhandarkar's JAIL on the same day. If the three films indeed release on the same day, it would be the biggest and most interesting for clash of 2009.
After all there is a lot in store for each of the three principal protagonists in the three films. Neil has to consolidate his position after NEW YORK, Ranbir has to live up to his young heart throb image while Shahid would eventually create a big star standing for himself if CHANCE PE DANCE as well as DIL BOLE HADIPPA click at the box office after KAMINEY.
