Around for last few years, Anjana has seen success in the form of GOLMAAL RETURNS and big league calling in the form of SALAAM E ISHQ. However, after a performance oriented JASHNN, she is all set to be a part of a light hearted entertainer like TUM MILO TOH SAHI.

In the film she is playing a college going youngster. That would have enabled her to relate to the character quite easily. Anjana elaborates about her character in the film, "What I really liked in my character was that she is so flamboyant, boisterous and fun loving. A Marathi chick, she is quite beautiful at heart but then she has an inferiority complex because others in her college come from well to do background. They have their flashing cars while this character can just aspire to be there. This is why she is such a fake personality because all she does is show off."

Has she come across such people?

"Yes, and you know what, when you are in school/college, you are so directionless about all of this. There is no real clarity or thought on what we want to do in life, whether personally and professionally. In fact sometimes a crush seems like eternal love; it turns out to be really blissful. Just because your focus is on somebody else, you may end up neglecting someone who is actually a nice person," Anjana remembers her college days.

From a laugh entertainer like GOLMAAL RETURNS and a heavy duty JASHNN, Anjana seem to have moved towards much lighter TUM MILO TOH SAHI..."(Smiles) Yes, TUM MILO TOH SAHI is very close to a real life situations with some bitter-sweet moments that really make the film so very identifiable. The entire treatment of the film though has been done in a very humorous way even as intricacies of relationships in people's lives are being explored. Of course it is a very metro film but the situations are something that everyone can relate to it. The idea was to make a light film so that people do not feel heavy in their heads once they leave the theatre," Anjana concludes.
