LOVE SEX AUR DHOKHA has done reasonably well at the box office and is now also available on DVDs. Meanwhile, this was one film which was sold entirely on Dibakar's name since for all the actors; it was their first ever film. When Dibakar looks back at the entire experience, doesn't he find that overtly flattering?

"Not really actually", says Dibakar with a straight face, "See, if a film is sold on my name then that is not just because of me. Credit must go to my audiences who have now started to make up their minds that they are stepping to watch a Dibakar Banerjee film. So now I have to always conscious about what these set of people expect from me. When they are isolating my film from dozens of other films that release in a year, it only ends up instilling a scary feeling. Let's put it this way, if you get a promotion then you are always expected to come up with better and larger set of deliverables. There is no room for error any more."

Meanwhile, LOVE SEX AUR DHOKHA is ensuring that it stays in news for long, courtesy the kind of attention the film is fetching amongst youth. Commenting upon the debate, Dibakar says, "What we need to debate first is that how do we see ourselves. Is our personal life defined by how we see it or instead how it is dictated by media or say, even the film industry?"

Elaborating on the statement made by him, Dibakar pauses for a while before stating a few examples. "When a man says 'I love you' to a young girl, there is a fair chance that he will say it in a manner which is similar to that of a certain film star to someone. Or when he sends a Valentine Day card then may be he is doing that because everyone else is doing that. In fact he may also have sex in his mind and there is a fair amount of chance that the couple may also indulge in it because they are in hurry. Also, because the whole world is telling them that they should loose their virginity. In fact some men may also feel that if his girlfriend is not size zero then what's the point in having one!"

Summarizing his thought process, Dibakar concludes, "These are the kind of issues that I wanted to raise with LOVE SEX AUR DHOKHA though in an entertaining manner. I am glad that the point has come across well."
