Milind Gadagkar is so confident about the scare qoutient in PHOONK 2 that he can foresee audience praying after watching the film in theaters. He believes that he has managed to project fear on screen in such a convincing manner that the audience would totally relate to the plight of the family made of Sudeep, Amruta, Ehsaas and Neeru.
"In PHOONK 2, I have tried to capture fear and taken it to such an extreme limit that not just would you be horribly scared, you would pray that something like this never happens to you", says Milind for whom this is his debut directorial venture, "With the arrival of ghost in their lives, this family faces so much fear that it just can't tackle. So much so that it eventually forces you to make a choice and decide how far you would go to save your loved one. That too to such an extent that you have to make a choice between letting go of one person you love to save another. It drives you to such level of madness."
Since this is his first ever film and he is sounding confident about the final product that he has in hand, there is an easy possibility of Milind getting slotted after the release. If PHOONK 2 succeeds, would he be continuing with the horror genre for some time to come at least?
"No, not at all", comes an immediate though expected response from Milind, "In fact when people say that I am starting off my career with a horror film, I have always said that horror is just a genre that has come to me. However, I am not going to stick to it for my life."
