The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India is organizing the India pavilion at the world's biggest Cinema event - the 63rd Cannes Film Festival -scheduled from 13-24 May, 2010 in France. The Ministry along with inputs of The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) is going ahead with the preparation for proper showcase of the changing face of the Indian Cinema and allied technology, at the Festival by setting up the 'Official India Pavilion' in Village International on picturesque beach-venue.
ASSOCHAM Patron Members, the Hinduja Group and the UB Group, have already confirmed to host two exclusive Networking Dinners during the festival. ASSOCHAM expects other hosting and fellowship patronage from leading members of the film industry; to sponsor these high-pitched and well-attended Round-table and Promo-screenings at India pavilion on all days of Festival.
India Pavilion 2010 is a great time and cinematic opportunity for film fraternity to showcase their achievement. This year the theme would be "India: destination of Creative & Production Out-sourcing" and "India: emerging global capital of Animation & Special-effect"; on joint decision with priorities of Government to focus on this opportunities to leverage talent available, in Indian Cine-trade.
