This is not some riddle that we are asking our readers to solve; it’s just a simple hypothetical question that has arisen out of a very interesting situation. But before we answer, here is an insight into the subject!

Hard core fans of the megastar, Amitabh Bachchan still remember the crackling chemistry shared by him and a relatively unknown actor (although a super duper star down south) Rajnikanth in the intense thriller drama, ANDHA KANOON (1983). Amitabh's extended cameo in the film (along with a host of other factors) were responsible for it becoming a blockbuster and made Rajnikanth a hit amongst the masses in the North and Hindi speaking belt .

Thereafter almost every film (whether dubbed or Hindi) which starred Rajnikanth turned out to be a hit or average grosser like JOHN JANI JANARDAN, GANGVA, BHAGWAN DADA, UTTAR DAKSHIN, PHOOL BANEY ANGAAREY, CHAALBAAZ etc to name a few.

The films that co-starred Amitabh and Rajnikanth after the super success of ANDHA KANOON were humongous hits like GERAFTAAR and HUM. So, the question that is on the minds of quite a few Amitabh (and also Abhishek fans) is that whether Abhishek like his father be able to make Vikram (a super duper star down south like Rajnikanth) a household name for the Hindi film audience as well?

Abhishek already ranks amongst the top actors of Bollywood and has a good fan following and Mani Ratnam's RAAVAN which stars Abhishek, Aishwarya and Vikram (making his debut in Bollywood) is all set to release on June 18 .

The much anticipated film is expected to turn out to be big success and hopefully Vikram too would become a big pan India star, especially for amongst the Hindi audience!
