If response to the film so far and the hype that it has generated in quick time is any indication, DABANGG seems like pretty much on the correct path. While the first look has proven to be a rage, the songs are doing well too, hence making DABANGG pretty hot this season.

"I am happy that the promos have gone down so well with the people. It is very encouraging and lends you a nice feeling", says Arbaaz in a softer tone, "We worked extra hard on the promos because we wanted audience to get the perfect idea of what to expect from the film. We have showed them exactly what is there in the film. I feel very fortunate that promos have caught on in such a big way. In fact with the kind of feedback that I have received from trade, public and media, I am confident that DABANGG will gain a cult following for itself."

CHECK OUT: DABANGG is an expensive film

Also, Arbaaz refuses to attribute the widespread excitement that DABANGG has gained for itself as sheer coincidence.

"What you get to see is not accidental; it is intended that way", smiles Arbaaz, "It is the sincerity, conviction and dedication which is being brought to fore here. Agar film alag lag rahi hai toh woh isliye kyunki hum audience ko clearly bata rahe hain ki film actually kitni different hai."

With DABANGG carrying extremely positive vibes, does the producer in him feels that action is the safest genre and hence would be dabbling in only such subjects in future too?

"No, nothing like that", Arbaaz disagrees here, "My next film could be a drama, romance or a thriller. What is important is that the excitement of making something new should be such that it ignites a similar passion that I had when I started work on DABANGG. Once that happens, I am game for any genre."
