Bollywood animation films still have a long way to go, more so because the audience are yet to warm up this genre. And so most ventures that are animation based are considered quite dicey. The only exception to the rule that one can remember is Sahara One's commercial success, the animated HANUMAN (2005).
However, it appears that the rule is about to change for the better with Kumar Mangat's Ajay Devgn (who is on a roll, and the star of 2010) and Kajol starrer, TOONPUR KA SUPERRHERO, which has live as well as animated characters. Basically designed to cater to children, this one just might do well if it catches their fancy. As per the trade its trailors have excited the kids who seem to be waiting for TOONPUR KA SUPERRHERO to release on 24th December.
Well, here's wishing a Merry Christmas and merry run to TOONPUR KA SUPERRHERO
