One of the first few films that Neil Nitin Mukesh had shot for, TERA KYA HOGA JOHNY, is now finally up for release. The film was supposed to release much earlier but due to unforeseen circumstances, there were hurdles which have finally been crossed by the makers of this dark edgy film. Now that only a few days remain for the film's arrival on the big screen, its director Sudhir Mishra is indeed convinced that Neil was the best choice for the role.
"When we first saw him, we knew that he was this young man who carried tremendous potential to do well in cinema," gushes Sudhir Mishra who has brought to fore the true potential of actors like Kareena Kapoor [CHAMELI], Shiney Ahuja and Chitrangda Singh [both in HAZARON KHWAISHEN AISI] before.
Though in the interim period, Neil has made an impression with diverse films such as JOHNNY GADDAAR, NEW YORK, JAIL and LAFANGEY PARDINEY, commercially the young actor has seen a mixed run so far. Sudhir Mishra is quite hopeful though that yet again, Neil would be known for his true acting potential after audience sees him in TERA KYA HOGA JOHNY.
"This is one film which will aid in further transformation for Neil," promises Mishra, "He is a very good actor and all he needs is a platform to succeed. He has that hunger to do well and this film provides him ample opportunity to be seen in an interesting space. Wait and watch."
Also starring Soha Ali Khan, Kay Kay Menon, Karan Nath, Vijay Maurya, Virendra Saxena and Makrand Deshpande, TERA KYA HO GAYA JOHNY releases all over on 17th December.
