It's TEES MAAR KHAN wave all over. Really, one waited for the hype to build up around the release of the film and that has indeed happened with TEES MAAR KHAN being the most awaited this season as it gears up for it's Friday release. In industry parlance, picture garam ho gayi hai!
Now this is something that Farah Khan is aware as well and though physically she is exhausted with all the running around, she can be seen smiling when asked about the enhanced buzz that her third film is seeing for itself. "I am having fun for sure. Really, I wanted to enjoy this pre-release period and I am getting it in abundance. No complaints here", says Farah.
She reaffirms once again that her Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer is aimed at universal audience and not restricted to multiplexes v/s single screens or A, B and C centers.
"We are a population of one billion people; kahan kahan audience divide karoge", says Farah, "Out of these, 75% don't know English. Then there is language and strata problem as well. It is not an easy job to cut barriers. This is the reason why I have not allowed any constraints around me to think about whether a particular scene would appeal to just mass or class audience."
Elaborating on her approach towards making the film, Farah says, "Let me be honest here; TEES MAAR KHAN is the kind of film which would be enjoyed by a rickshaw driver as well as a socialite from South Mumbai. I want to make only those kind of movies which are now being termed as 'my kind of movies'. And please, don't leave your brains behind because I have put a lot of brains in making it."
