TERA KYA HOGA JOHNY may have been ready for quite some time and releasing only now after a delay of many months. However, producer Tutu Sharma is content with the fact that the film is now ready for release and believes that it is just the right time for this intense drama to arrive in theaters.
"The wait has been worthwhile after all", says Sharma in a positive tone, "Yes, we have had to hold on to the film for a while. There were issues. However all of that has sorted out now. Also, when I look at the market today, I feel TERA KYA HOGA JOHNY is releasing at just the right time."
A veteran producer who took a sabbatical for while before making a mini comeback of sorts with a small film MR SINGH MRS MEHTA a few months ago, Sharma says that one has to be careful about the time period in which a film arrives at screens.
"Today, it is not just about making a film which is important; one also has to be careful about the right release period and the choice of theaters. One has to see that distribution is done by the right people", he says, "And then most importantly your film should be good as well."
When asked how confident he is when it comes to this all important aspect of TERA KYA HOGA JOHNY, Sharma smiles, "Of course the film has shaped up quite well. The film has just the right cast and with Sudhir's (Mishra) knack of extracting brilliant performances from his actors, I am confident about the film finding its audience."
