Who wouldn't love to be part of the reputed and one of the oldest banners in Bollywood - Rajshri Productions? And actor Vivek Oberoi's cousin Akshay Oberoi is one such lucky chap to have got this opportunity. He can't get over the fact that he makes his acting debut with Rajshri's ISI LIFE MEIN.
"Rajshri were very kind from day one. I feel very blessed and lucky," says the young actor.
Further on sharing his experience with Rajshris, Akshay says, "Rajshri people make you feel at home. Aisa lagta hai aap kaam hi nahi karrahe ho. You can't go wrong. They give you that space. They are beautiful people. There's certain emotional connect with them. I feel emotional almost that my first film is with Rajshris."
Despite hailing from the famous Oberoi Khandaan, Akshay never used the name to get work. On the contrary he struggled for good 4-5 years before bagging Rajshri film. "Though Vivek is my cousin but I have never used his name to get any role. Whatever I've got it's on my own merit. I studied acting in US and then did theatre & struggled just like any other struggler," says Akshay in a proud tone.
Every newcomer wishes to have the presence of big stars so as to increase the weight age of their film. However Akshay is happy to have worked with the fresh bunch of people, "It doesn't matter. In fact we had so much fun. Since we all were new there was tremendous energy on the sets. We all wanted to go out there and do our best."
Also marking the debut of Sandeepa Dhar as the leading lady, ISI LIFE MEIN is directed by Sooraj Barjatya's niece, Vidhi Kasliwal and releases all over on 24th December.
