The coming Friday will see the release of undoubtedly one of the biggest and most awaited project of 2010, the film that brings back after almost 8 years the iconic SRK-Kajol pair in a film directed by none other than Karan Johar. Obviously we are referring to MY NAME IS KHAN. The minor hiccups not withstanding, the film is expected to embark on a historic start, not just in India but even in the Overseas, where it is likely to set new records.
MY NAME IS KHAN and STRIKER
Last Friday's Studio 18 and Makefilm's STRIKER paid the penalty of releasing a week before a biggie (MY NAME IS KHAN) and as a result, despite a novel theme and good execution, the film embarked on a very poor start across India. STRIKER is not expected to achieve anything significant at the ticket window.
