Nominated for many Grammy Awards and Academy Awards, world renowned Hollywood singer and songwriter, Lisbeth Scott has lent her melodious voice for the very first time for an Asian film and that is too in an India film LAHORE. She has sung for endless Hollywood blockbusters like AVATAR, SHERLOCK HOLMES, TRANSFORMERS, INDIANA JONES and THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL, PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: AT WORLD'S END, SHREK, THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA, CASINO ROYALE, THE DA VINCI CODE, MUNICH, THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST, TERMINATOR 3, SPIDER-MAN, and PEARL HARBOR to name a few and soon could be listened in Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan's LAHORE while singing the opening alaap for the film. LAHORE will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures and will release on 19th March, 2010.

Fascinated by her intense voice Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan decided to charm the Indian audiences by her voice through his film LAHORE. Her beautiful voice enamored the director so much that when he first listened to her in Munich a long time back it became his dream to get her for his movie which was not even planned that time. But Sanjay was not sure that will she be ready to sing for his movie as she has worked with the famous composers.

This will be soulful classic score which will leave a tremendous impact on the audiences and leave them enchanted by her voice and adding to the flavor. Wayne Sharpe is doing the background music and icing on the cake is the beautiful singer Lisbeth. Lisbeth was sent the script of LAHORE and the sincerity of the film which is about Indo-Pakistan relationship, touched her heart so much that she agreed to lend her voice in the movie. Sanjay is sure that Lisbeth would do her best to make this score really successful in music charts which will touch Indian hearts and soul.

Director Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan says, "After completion of the shooting of LAHORE, one day Wayne and I were sitting to discuss the possibilities for our film. I suggested that to get someone like Lisbeth to sing the alaap is my dream. Wayne tried, but at the first time she was not sure about singing for a non Hollywood film. We sent her the script and since LAHORE is based on Kickboxing Sport, and is a story about revenge personified, she agreed. We got a call from her secretary to come to Los Angeles to fulfill the formalities. You will understand the impact when you will see the film with her voice in the background."

On being asked about the decision of singing for a Hindi movie, Lisbeth says, "The Composer, Wayne Sharpe, liked my work in several films he had seen, and he contacted me about singing on his score for Lahore. When I heard about the film and its compelling subject matter, I knew I would love to sing on it. It was a wonderful and intense experience working with Wayne on his beautiful score to LAHORE. I was mesmerized and realized what an important and special film this was. We worked steadily after that for several days and had a very easy and organic creative interaction. I am very excited to see and hear the final results!"

Shot in Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Lonavala, Malaysia and of course at Lahore in Pakistan, the film LAHORE has already won many international awards, including Best Feature Film Jury's Award at the 42nd World Fest (Houston), Most Aspiring Filmmaker at International Filmmaker Fest (UK), Best Actor Award at Salento International Film Festival (Italy), Best Actor Award at Tenerife International Film Festival Award (UK) and six nominations including Best Picture and Best Director at Asian Fest of First Film (Singapore). Now the real test of the film has to be at the hands of audiences.

LAHORE is being looked as the most authentic sports film ever made in India and has some of the best technicians from Bollywood and Hollywood working on it. Its grand Production Design has been done by Kesto Mondal, Music by legendary M. M. Kreem, Action Choreography has been done by Master Tony Leung Siu Hung, Wayne Sharpe has done the original background score, it also had Rob Miller of CHAK DE fame as Sports consultant.
