Hawaii to host Bollywood Film Festival

The renowned Honolulu Academy of Arts will organize "3rd Annual Bollywood Film Festival" from January 23rd to March 2nd.

The films, which will be shown in Academy's Doris Duke Theatre, will be from various film genres, including family centric romantic comedies, critically acclaimed based on epics, a Shakespearean tragedy, Mumbai noir, socially conscious cinema, and an indie production.

Launched in 1927, Academy is Hawaii's (USA) premier art museum, with a collection of over 50,000 works. Dr. Stephen Little is the Director while Lynne Johnson is Chairman Board of Trustees.
