Film maker Louis Wilson is not an easy man to impress. However, the director of 8 was in for a pleasant surprise with the conduct of Sameer Dattani, his lead hero of his under production. It was a tough shooting stint for everyone in cast and crew but Sameer's professionalism simply blew him over. So much so that Louis can be heard showering appreciation about his man of the moment all over the town.
"Sameer has done such a brilliant job in 8 and this was further complimented by the fact that not just is he a very good actor but also a thorough professional", says Wilson whose other horror flick KAALO is also slated for release soon.
Narrating a few examples around what impressed him most about Sameer, Wilson describes, "It was a difficult shoot, more so because 8 is a horror thriller and hence lighting during night was of utmost importance. There used to be times when setting up a shot used to take a long time but Sameer never threw any tantrums. There used to be shoots lasting day long and also extending in nights but next day morning he would be on time on the sets again."
Wilson promises that 8 would be a proper launch-pad for the young actor all over. "He has been doing some good work in last few years. When I saw his MUKHBIIR I was blown away. It was a good film and Sameer was very good in that. However, with 8 Sameer would be noticed in a big way."
