Ever since Ramu announced RANN, there have been speculations galore if the film is all set to take media heads on. More so because the promos too are not leaving anything to imagination and promise to call a spade a spade.
"It's not really like the way you describe", protests Ramu, "No one is taking media heads on here. However, what is going to happen for sure is that RANN will expose the media in its nakedness. In any case I am not saying that media by itself is corrupt but then by the virtue of it's positioning, it is corrupt. There is a fundamental difference between the two things."
"See, it's not that media is made up of bad people but then one also can't deny the fact that people who get into this field may well become corrupt. It's the nature of the business. In fact this also reminds me of Mohan Lal's dialogue in COMPANY where he addresses gangsters by stating - 'It's not your fault, tumhaare dhandhe ki jaat hi aisi hai'. That's exactly the point in RANN as well", he describes.
