ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAI is in its last leg of shooting and director Milan Luthria along with Ajay Devgn is going all out to ensure that the film reaches the finishing line soon. This Ekta Kapoor production was marred in controversies with talks around the delays in shooting even though Milan categorically denied them and stated them as baseless. Now as the principal shooting of the film is all but complete, one questions Milan on one of the many rumours that were floating around during the making of the film. This one dealt with the buzz that Ajay wasn't too happy with the script and there were certain recommendations from him that led to the delay in film's completion.
"Please don't try searching or creating any controversy here because there aren't any", Milan says with a straight face, "As for Ajay demanding a change in script then well, I also happened to hear about this from 'sources'. The fact is that it is impossible because Ajay is hardly the kind of guy who interferes in such things. This is the third time I am working with him after KACHCHE DHAAGE and CHORI CHORI and I know for sure that he is a chilled out guy to work with. He shares a wonderful rapport with Emraan (Hashmi) and they have really clicked well together."
Well, one really hopes so and looks forward to the film maker bouncing back. He may not have tasted box office success with HAT TRICK but gained quite some appreciation with TAXI NO. 9211. Also, when it comes to films that boast of raw energy, he delivers his best, case in point being KACHCHE DHAAGE and DEEWAR - LET'S BRING OUR HEROES HOME. Since ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAI pretty much throws Milan back into a genre that is presumably his comfort zone, there is a lot to look forward to once the film releases this July.
