For someone who has been doing reasonably well in her short career so far and has worked with the likes of Priyadarshan, Madhur Bhandarkar and now Ram Gopal Varma, Neetu Chandra doesn't mind being a part of a huge ensemble cast. Instead, she is looking forward to how audience reacts to her character of a model in the film.
"In RANN, people will see if I can act", says Neetu in a confident tone, "Ultimately it’s your potential as an actor and your hard work that gets you to a certain level. Look at Amitabh Bachchan. Today we are saying that he is spearheading RANN and that's a fact because the film actually gets driven through his character. Its years of hard work that got him here. And to think of it, even if he was rejected for so many films in the early days of his career. Now today, we call him a legend and rightly so."
Happy to be moving ahead in her career and looking forward to half a dozen films of hers that are lined up in next six months, Neetu admits that she still has a long way to go.
"It would only be after 20-30 years and after having done 100 odd films would I start looking at whether I got the kind of author backed roles that I was looking for and drove any of them all by myself. Till then I am happy to be picking and choosing the best that is coming my way", signs off Neetu.
