After a long hiatus, NRI producer Bipin Patel's film THE HANGMAN was finally premiered in Cinemax, Andheri. And actors Om Puri and Shreyas Talpade literally had a blast at the premiere.
The premiere was a special one for Shreyas as THE HANGMAN is his debut film and that too in English. The release got stuck for some undisclosed reasons.
Adding a topping to the celebration was Shreyas' birthday that coincided with the same day. Dressed in casuals, Shreyas came for the premiere with his wife Deepti , who was looking gorgeous in a purple dress.
The star-studded premiere was also attended by Om Puri, who came along with his wife Nandita. The veteran actor was sporting an interesting T-shirt probably hinting at the current Marathi-North Indian issues in Mumbai.
Bollywood's "bad man" Gulshan Grover, who is playing the "good man" in the film, was mobbed by his fans as soon as he entered the venue.
Amrita Bedi who is making her debut in the film was also seen in the premiere, dressed up simply.
A story of 1970, THE HANGMAN is a film which deals with the emotional impact of a hangman's profession on the protagonist, his wife and his son.
