When we asked him whether he was upset with the censor board for granting an adult certificate to the Anusha Rizvi directed Raghubeer Yadav starrer, Aamir was quick to accept the censor board's decision. Unlike other makers who make it a point to show their anger and frustration at censor when given 'A' certificates, Aamir went to the extent of justifying the censor board. Says Aamir, "I think that the censor was absolutely right in their judgment. The film does contain a few swear words that are a part of the lingo of the characters and even I would not like my children to hear such words."
When questioned whether he felt that this kind of off beat film revolving around the film of a impoverished farmer set in a village would work especially now that it has been granted an 'A' certificate as well, Aamir replied, "Certainly, the film will work. We feel that PEEPLI [LIVE] is just not meant for the niche audience and a large section of the people will connect with it. In fact we have shown the clips and trailers of the films to quite a lot of people, including the youth who all seem to have enjoyed and appreciated our effort."
Well, considering its Aamir Khan at the helm of affairs we are sure that this movie too will click with the audience when it releases on August 13.
