It has been eight months since Eesha Koppikhar got married to restaurateur Timmy Narang and if she is glowing, she is very much willing to show it as well. As she goes on to mention the adage of 'shaadi ka laddoo' which is a must to be savoured, Eesha also doesn't mind the fact that it's her mother-in-law who calls the shots at the Narang household.
"We live in a huge place and really, it would be impossible for me to run things on my own. Being married to a Punjabi family means there is so much that happens in the house 24X7. I am enjoying living a life where I am working in films while also getting totally domesticated. It has been fun for the last 8 months," says Eesha who is doubling up as a wife and an actress.
Being someone who was independent for years, was living a free life and saw everything at her disposal in the world of glamour for all these years, doesn't Eesha feel a tad intimidated by the fact that it is her mother-in-law who is calling the shots.
"No, not at all. She is authoritative but with a purpose," comes an instant defense from Eesha, "It is not an easy task to manage a huge household and hats off to her for doing it all so well for so many years. She knows exactly about where a particular piece of cloth has to be kept, how the utensils are taken care of or what is kept in a cupboard or a rack. In fact now she is also teaching me to take care of things or how to supervise others when it comes to keeping the room and cupboards clean."
It is at this very moment when a servant interrupts the conversation and asks Eesha for some directions around placing a set of clothes in the room. "See, you saw it for yourself," Eesha breaks into a laugh here, "Karna padta hai yeh sab, it's not an easy thing to be managing things at home."
