On the success of gangster based films, Ajay opines, "It's not about gangster based films. It's about good scripts and bad scripts. What we are trying to make is just a reflection of society."

CHECK OUT: I can't watch my films after a few years

He continues, "There is something intriguing about gangsters. When you talk about my character in the film, he is not negative according to the common people. He is a Robin Hood. There was a charm about the 70s which is also there in this film and my character. There's so much of romance and attitude to it that you feel becoming like the character."

Ajay further adds, "Underworld fascinates all. We glamorise it. If you see the famous picture of Dawood with the specs, you feel that our government is so incompetent that it can't catch him. You feel that he has so much power and you feel like being him. What's wrong in that?"

Direceted by Milan Lutria, the film also stars Emraan Hashmi, Prachi Desai and Kangana Ranaut and is all set to hit screens this Friday.
