Anjum believes that the courses have been "designed to fulfill all the requirements of aspirants seriously interested in Screenwriting". Founder and Chairman, WWI, and filmmaker, Subhash Ghai adds, "As the whole business of the entertainment industry depends substantially on the merits of writers, then, writers should first know the technique and grammar of script seriously, by going through an institute, as is the case with architects who have to undergo professional training."

The Screenwriting Faculty has on board a formidable team of working professionals that includes Ashwini Malik (CLEVER AND LONELY and SORRY BHAI), now directing a film himself, Pubali Chaudhuri, an award-winner for her screenplay for ROCK ON!!, and presently working on another screenplay with Abhishek Kapoor and Chetan Bhagat, and Ranjan Ghosh, an alumnus of the first batch whose final project for his Screenwriting Diploma was Aparna Senís latest Bengali film, ITI MRINALINI.
