Though she has played someone on the commanding side of affairs in movies like RAQEEB, CHOCOLATE, GOOD BOY BAD BOY and SAAS BAHU AUR SENSEX, it's a new Tanushree which one gets to see in APARTMENT where she plays the role of a victim.
"And trust me that's no less a challenge", she states immediately, "Since APARTMENT is a psychological thriller, I had to be very careful about how I conducted myself because one false move and the whole character as well as the film would have come falling down."
It was after a long wait of a year and a half (ever since the release of SAAS BAHU AUR SENSEX) that Tanushree Dutta had a release to her name in the form of ROKKK around a month back. The film came a few days back and though it didn't quite set the box office on fire, Tanushree is excited enough about her new innings which promises to show her in a different light.
Well, she may actually have a point here. Those who have caught a glimpse or two of APARTMENT insist that Tanushree should be able to turn over a new leaf once the film hits the screens. Come 23rd April and it would be for audience to see if Tanushree really manages to change any perceptions here.
