VIRSA is the first truly international Punjabi film with cast and crew from India, Pakistan and Australia. It will bring together the best of the talent from these three countries to give the viewers of Punjabi films an international cinematic experience.
VIRSA shot extensively in Australia marks the most expensive Punjabi movie. The film is one of the first Punjabi films which has almost entirely been shot in Australia. Shot at beautiful exotic locations, at Sydney (Australia) to that of Punjab, VIRSA has both international and cultural touch.
VIRSA deals with the expatriate Punjabi community and its crisis of identity and morality as it tries to blend in with the new community around it even as it tries to preserve its age-old values and culture and traditions from back home in Punjab. A Wize Mindz Entertainment production presented by One World Entertainment, VIRSA also marks the launch of Aarya Babbar into Punjabi films opposite Mehreen Raheal, a Pakistani actress.
