Sajid Khan didn't mince any words while commenting on some of the film critics a few months back. He maintains the same stance till date.

"My question is that why and how do critics get it all wrong so often? They ripped apart KAMBAKKHT ISHQ but it still managed to do a business of 47 crores. I do not fear them", declares Sajid whose HOUSEFULL is all set to enjoy the huge numbers in one week flat, which would be more than what HEYY BABYY had netted (50 crores) in it's entire lifetime run.

HOUSEFULL is one of the hugest multi starrers in the recent times and features the likes of Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Deepika Padukone, Lara Dutta, Arjun Rampal and Jiah Khan. While assembling such a cast together, Sajid was sure that he didn't want to disappoint his audience by any means.

"That's because I don't direct movies for myself. I do it for those audience who come to watch a movie and buy tickets from their hard earned money", he says, "For them, it has to be money well spent when they see my film. Every time I step out to make a film, I do so for that 90% worldwide audience which loves Hindi films. This comprises of both mass and class audience. Yes, I know that there are 10% pseudo intellectual people who like slow, boring, insignificant and non-entertaining films. But then for me, cinema is only about entertainment. It could be in any form, whether action, comedy, thriller or drama."

Extending his desire to make entertainers, he shares his logic, "See, nobody comes to watch a film to change their life. Has a film ever cured cancer, split an atom or changed society? Not at all. The sooner most directors realize it, the better it would be for Bollywood as it would stop delivering any flops."
