RAAJNEETI Press meet was one event to watch out for. Fun, witty talks, debates, drama, cheers, discussions, arguments, banter, all in one place.

Filmmaker Prakash Jha made the first move and run-through us to the few clips of his highly anticipated film, giving tidbits about the movie. Later as his cast & crew joined him at the event, including Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Katrina Kaif, Manoj Bajpayee, UTV baron Ronnie Screwvala minus Ajay Devgn, Nana Patekar and Naseeruddin Shah, he kicked off the marketing campaign of the film.

Jha said, "The entire team of RAAJNEETI will be traveling to colleges across the country to interact and discuss with the youth about their take on politics. They will visit colleges in cities like Delhi, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Bangalore, Kolkata, Ahemdabad and Indore."

However, Prakash Jha's campaign for the movie didn't go down well with few media personnel present on the event. As Prakash Jha maintained that the film is purely made for entertainment and not intending to preach or leave a strong message behind or for that matter evoking the youth towards politics. Clarifies Prakash Jha, "I just want people to get entertained. We want to be awarded and rewarded for this film. I have no intention to teach or preach with this film." But the rally which they are set to begin, about visiting various colleges, gives an impression of leaving a serious impact behind.

Further the media also took potshots at Katrina's Hindi accent and dubbing, which again wasn't well-received by the pretty lady and her filmmaker.

While Ranbir & Arjun were seen in chilled out mood (Arjun being wittiest), Manoj Bajpayee seemed too lost in thought and gave his understanding about politics in philosophical way.

All in all, the event was a grand affair and now all eyes are on Prakash Jha's RAAJNEETI, which releases on June 4, 2010.
