Name Udita Goswami and the first thought that comes to mind is a sensual young woman who would be ready to sizzle on screen any moment. PAAP, ZEHER and AKSAR - somehow her initial set of movies have managed to create such an image in audience mind that it is difficult to shrug it all away even though more than five years have passed by since her big screen debut. However, the fact remains that Udita isn't complaining and she has a reason for that.
"I have never thought of an image change because that is easier said than done", says Udita who is known for being quite open when it comes to sharing her thoughts, "I think because of the kind of face that I have, I don't look Indian. I don't quite carry similar looks as that of Aishwarya Rai, Deepika Padukone or Rani Mukerjee."
No wonder, she has been playing an upmarket young urban woman in each of her last three releases - CHASE, ROKKKK and FOX. Also, there is a definite sensuality quotient that has been a part and parcel of her on screen persona.
"And I am fine with that because people like me looking hot. Also, they can identify with me if I have that slight negative shade to my character", she says in a matter of fact tone, "That's the way I am and really, though I am trying to bring in some difference, after one point you can't change yourself much. If I have my negatives then I also have my own plusses. In fact if I go to Hollywood, my negatives could well be considered as plusses there."
