It has been almost a year since the release of LIFE PARTNER. Even though his last two films, including GOLMAAL RETURNS, have been successful, Tusshar Kapoor is not willing to make much noise about it. The only noise is in his life currently is SHOR, a film which is almost complete and is readying itself for release.
"SHOR is an edgy slice of life film that deals with noise in people's life in Mumbai. It is very gritty and identifiable by the common man as well as the rich man in the city", says Tusshar who is currently stationed in Goa for the shooting of GOLMAAL 3.
When questioned about the genre of SHOR, Tusshar says, "Its kind of a black comedy, drama and thrills rolled in. There are multiple stories playing in parallel and all of them are connected to each other."
The moment one hears a plot like this, the film that immediately comes to mind is LIFE IN A METRO which again had multiple stories connected to each other in some manner.
"No, SHOR is not similar to LIFE IN A METRO", clarifies Tusshar, "That film was more romantic whereas SHOR is not just about romance. There is a little bit of comedy and also some hard hitting drama. In LIFE IN A METRO there were three love stories whereas in SHOR we are exploring issues other than just romance. Our film is far more aggressive in its treatment and presentation."
SHOR is directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK who made their debut last year with Kunal Khemu starrer 99.
