For young Jahan Bloch, the debutant leading lady of KRANTIVEER - THE REVOLUTION, while songs and romantic portions - which were in bare minimum quantity - came naturally and were relatively easier, the bigger challenge lied in the dramatic scenes. The very fact that this Mehul Kumar directed film is a dramatic affair, especially so since it is the sequel to Nana Patekar starrer KRANTIVEER, letting herself loose in front of camera was the bare minimum requirement for Jahan.
"To be yourself is quite easy because as a youngster, I too love to hang out in real life. To depict that part of Roshni was easy. However, I had to apply myself much more in the dramatic scenes of the film", says Jahan who was handed over a lengthy dialogue sheet for the climax sequence, "It stays on to be one of the most memorable scenes of all in the film."
While she was able to crack it eventually, there was quite some hard work that went into the making of this scene.
"I was a little nervous because I had to go through these lengthy dialogues", she remembers, "Moreover, the whole cast of the film was also there while the focus was entirely on me. Later I just gathered up all the courage and said to myself that let me just go ahead and do it."
Starring Samir Aftab as the main lead along with Kelly Dorji, Ranjit, Farida Jalal, Govind Namdeo, Mukesh Rishi, Aman Verma, Aditya Singh Rajput and Harsh, KRANTIVEER - THE REVOLUTION releases all over on 25th June.
