Regardless of the box office disappointment of APARTMENT, Neetu Chandra hasn't lost her spunk. She is happy to be moving on in her career and green lighting some good projects coming her way. Add to that the fact that she did see good reviews coming her way for the act of a psychologically disturbed young woman in the film and Neetu rightly believes that there is lot more for her to offer in years to come.
"I treat each of my films as the most important ever in my career. Whether it was being the central protagonist in APARTMENT or playing one of the many characters in a multi starrer like RANN, I have always considered it to be THE most important film which I have done. Each film gives you a different space and offers you to play a different character. Once you have made a decision to work in a film, how can you place one above another", questions Neetu.
In months to come, Neetu would be enjoying quite a few releases to her name, most notable being Anees Bazmee directed NO PROBLEM which is aiming for a September release.
"Well, as I said, I look forward to each of my films", she smiles, "I want to be super engaged for next 30-40 years. I have worked hard to reach a point where I have different kind of films coming to me. I am cherishing every moment today. When I look back at my movies, say for example RANN, I get such a sense of pride because I could be in the same space as Mr. Bachchan. I like the medium of cinema because it creates history. What I do today would be seen by people even 50-100 years down the line. What more can you wish for?"
