So finally, after many dark weeks, the bountiful Diwali week is here and this time around too there are two big releases - Rohit Shetty's GOLMAAL 3 and Vipul Shah's ACTION REPLAYY- all ready to set the cash registers ringing. As things stand today, GOLMAAL 3 is expected to take the first day honors while ACTION REPLAYY is likely improve with each passing day. One feels that G 3 may have a better weekend than AR, but the gap is unlikely to be too pronounced, quite in contrast to last year, where the Akshay starrer BLUE won the opening (weekend) battle against the Ajay Devgn's ALL THE BEST rather comprehensively. Trade on its part expects both films to succeed but is divided on which will be the front runner in India. It is clear that in the Overseas ACTION REPLAYY will triumph over GOLMAAL 3 due to the Akshay-Aishwarya clout.
