Shooting of F.A.L.T.U. has wrapped up in quick time despite a new director, Remo D'Souza, being on board. No wonder, Jackky Bhagnani is extremely happy with the way film's shoot has progressed and the final product has shaped up. Compared to his earlier experience of working with director Vivek Sharma in his debut flick KAL KISSNE DEKHA, Jackky feels that F.A.L.T.U. has been a cakewalk.
"Honestly, I want to leave the experience of working with Vivek behind me. There is no point giving importance to that matter. I have moved on and all I can say is that with Remo, it is the first time I am feeling that it is a collaborative effort," Jackky says fondly about his director, "He is such a sorted out professional and knows the script, his craft as well as the potential of his actors. He stretched me where he wanted and made sure that nothing lesser than the best came on screen."
The film has now moved into post production and gearing up for a release early next year. As per the production team, the film is aiming for a Valentines release which means 11th February could well be the chosen date for arrival. Incidentally, this is the same date when a biggie PATIALA HOUSE [Akshay Kumar, Anushka Sharma, Rishi Kapoor] is also releasing.
"Well, the way F.A.L.T.U. has shaped up, I am confident that we have managed to do what we wanted," says Jackky who has further worked on his appearance to look far more dashing and 'hero-like' for his second outing, "The idea was not just to make a good film; it was to make the best film of 2011."
Marking the debut of ex-Miss India Pooja Gupta as the leading lady, F.A.L.T.U. is a Vashu Bhagnani production that also sees Riteish Deshmukh and Arshad Warsi in special appearances with Chandan Roy Sanyal and Akbar Khan playing other important roles.
