Ajay is smiling away to glory. 2010 has proved to be a highly successful year for him with GOLMAAL 3 approaching the 100 crores mark (it has already seen over 80 crores coming in). With such a happening year in his career as well as personal life (he and his wife Kajol just had a baby boy), how does he still manage to lie low rather than flying high? After all one doesn't hear outrageous stories about him giving in to any temptation or being inaccessible despite the superstardom that he is enjoying.
"I have been in the industry for a good number of years to know how I have to conduct myself. Still, I never got carried away. I just continue to hold on to my own self. If I hadn't, I don't think I would have been here today", says Ajay in a humble, yet confident tone.
Meanwhile, as spectators (audience) continue to swell, there is bound to be an added list of admirers as well. How does Ajay differentiate between those who are genuinely fond about him as a person versus those who are now there with him just because he is successful?
Smiles Ajay, "I simply don't allow many people to come close to me. I know the people who form a part of my inner circle and I trust them and their judgment. As for sycophants, there could be many out there. I stay away from them. Some out there may enjoy to be in their company but that's not the case with me."
