Minissha Lamba is currently working on a couple of comedies - HUM TUM AUR SHABANA and BHEJA FRY 2. However, there was a time in pre- WELL DONE ABBA days when she willingly indulged in liberal dose of skin show, especially around the release of KIDNAP? Not just one rediscovered a sizzling new Minissha in the film; she also burnt the stands with some of her bold photo shoots.
'It was something that I did then because KIDNAP was releasing at that time. The sort of image that I carried pre- KIDNAP days was completely different so a makeover was a must. I wanted to push the envelope and hence went with a holds-no-bar approach. I don't regret any of those decisions though. After all, it is important to do something really different for your films and I did what was right then', Minissha keeps her stance intact.
How about the current times? If someone approaches to play a hot-n-sizzling part yet again for a film, would she be game for it?
'I don't know about tomorrow', she smiles, 'These things are far away from my mind. All I pray for is some more interesting scripts coming my way so that I could do a good film. There are lot of interesting people making some interesting films. I am also game for those conventional song and dance affairs. After all this is the heritage that we carry in Bollywood. I want to be a part of cliched movies. That's our tradition so how can we detach ourselves from it? Denying its importance would be totally ridiculous.'
