After making films ten hard-hitting films like HIP HIP HURRAY, DAMUL, PARINATI, BANDISH, MRITYUDAND, DIL KYA KARE, RAHUL, GANGAAJAL, APAHARAN and RAAJNEETI, Prakash Jha will soon launch three TV shows on Maurya TV, his news and current affairs channel.
A source from Maurya TV avers, 'Yes, the boss is launching three new shows of which one is inspired from his earlier film, MRITYUDAND that starred Madhuri Dixit and Shabana Azmi. All else I can say is that the casting for all the three shows is on.'
Confirming that he is indeed making three new shows for television, Prakash Jha says, 'For some time now I was mulling with the idea of putting up hard-hitting and thoughtful shows for Maurya TV. I am indeed starting a TV serial production division but right now I cannot divulge anything more.'
Meanwhile, Jha has already started working on his next project AARAKSHAN. The film, based on the issue of job reservations and student politics, stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn and Manoj Bajpai in prominent roles.
