Known for being versatile when it comes to the subjects that he chooses for his films, film maker Mohit Suri is known for getting good performances out of his actors film after film, whether it is ZEHER, KALYUG, WOH LAMHE, GANGSTER, AWARAPAN or Raaz - THE MYSTERY CONTINUES. Now that Arjan Bajwa, who plays a strong role of a baddie in the film, too is seeing good appreciation coming his way, the young man can't thank his director enough.
"All credit to Mohit that he made me work to my full potential in CROOK", exclaims Arjan Bajwa who waited for a while before signing anything until CROOK came his way, "It is he who made me work like this. He has presented me in a way which is shockingly, surprisingly and pleasantly different from what I have done in the past. Whether it is my body language, dialogue delivery, look or the overall mannerisms, he has given me a complete makeover."
While he sounds all gung ho about the character that he enacts in the film, wasn't he even wee bit worried about the fact that Emraan Hashmi has stayed on to be the blue eyed baby of Bhatts and Mohit? Didn't Arjan risk being completely overshadowed right at the editing table itself, let aside in the final product?
"If that was the case, why would they have taken me in the film," questions Arjan, "When you work with Bhatts and Mohit, you are rest assured that you are integral to the film. You know that they will make a good product. Pick up their earlier films as well and you would see that their other characters are never overshadowed by the film's leads. They are always very fair to all their actors. Now that the film is out, you can see it for yourself."
