After his creative differences with Balaji honcho Ekta Kapoor, PVR films is backing Dibakar with his political thriller SHANGHAI. Looking at Dibakar's track record, PVR has decided to increase the budget of Dibarkar's new film. According to reliable sources, PVR is looking at a budget of Rs 15 crore for Dibarkar's next.
Adds our source, "The budget allotted to Dibakar Banerjee's film is around Rs 15 crore. PVR is making sure that the filmmaker does not feel constrained because of the films budget demands. Moreover, the fact that Dibarkar's deliverables at the box office have been steady over the years, the producers don't mind spending on this project."
