JHOOTHA HI SAHI is up for release and after having spent more than a year working on the film, John Abraham can look back at the entire experience quite fondly. For him, the film was not just a chance to work with new age film maker Abbas Tyrewala but also get into some serious personality change himself to fit into the character. While John went all out to get into an experimental look, what with a bespectacled look, drooping shoulders and a much smaller looking frame, the maker truly believes that it was all worth it after all.
"Abbas complimented John a lot on the new look that he carried for JHOOTHA HI SAHI", says a senior unit member who was with Abbas and John right through the making of the film, "He told him that he could see a visible difference in the way John's body language changed for the part. He noticed the fact that when the camera was not rolling, John still resembled (at least physically) like his true self though there was a major look change. However, the moment there was a sound of 'action', John's body language went through a complete shift. He used to stoop a little and suddenly, his weight seemed 6 kgs lesser on camera."
Tell John about this and he says, "Yes, Abbas does tell me that my body language shocked him as well. When we hadn't started work on the film, he was a little worried that how would I pull off the character since my physique is pretty large. However, we worked on this consciously and ensured that my large frame didn't come in the way of this really loveable and adorable character that I play. Trust me; you will forget John Abraham the way you know me within 10 minutes of seeing me on screen."
